Support Small Business and Your Local Community

Now more than ever we need to support our small business community.

We are certainly living in unprecedented times. Our normal way of living has been disrupted while we figure out how to stop COVID-19. What can we do? Of course, take our governments cautions to social distance and quarantine seriously. Another thing we can do on a local scale is support small business.

Our country is composed of small businesses that are employers for millions of people. Without these companies in the near future we would be missing part of the American identity.  Although storefronts are closed right now that doesn’t mean as a customer the support has to stop. Berks Pandemic Support is here with some ways you can help keep small businesses afloat.

Gift Cards

Purchasing a gift card for your favorite business that is currently closed acts as a cheat code. That purchase essentially acts as money that goes right to a business. Of course, the gift cards can be used for later purchases and as gifts. Here’s a great page supporting local business right here in Berks County.

Takeout

Finally, a simple resolution: takeout. Restaurants all over the nation are still open, but you cannot dine in. The answer is to support these businesses while you can. Using delivery platforms like Delivery Dudes to help expand the money flow to other local businesses. With unemployment happening money may be tight. Live amongst your means, and try to support a local business whenever you can. During this trying times all we have is our community. Supporting our neighbors and local community helps us all achieve success.

Here in Berks County, Taqueria Comalli created a fundraiser with a goal of serving FIVE THOUSAND TACOS to first responders in our area. Help them achieve their goal by visiting TacosForHeroes.net today!

Merch

We like to think of this a one-two combo. Similar to gift cards, a purchase of merch supports a small business by putting money in your favorite company’s pockets while helping increase their exposure and marketing. For example, if you are brewery, having merch like cups, glasses, coasters, and t-shirts.

We’re proud to announce the creation of our web store to support local small businesses in Berks County. Community Pandemic Support is helping support sour community by giving 10 dollars of every shirt sold directly to other local businesses. You also get to select which business that is at checkout – it doesn’t get any easier than that!
